Paraisópolis reelege Gilson Rodrigues presidente da União dos Moradores

No dia 11 de dezembro ocorreu a eleição para a nova diretoria da União dos Moradores e do Comércio de Paraisópolis. A Chapa 1 – “Todos Unidos por uma Nova Paraisópolis”, liderada pelo presidente da União, Gilson Rodrigues, foi eleita com 1.651 votos.

Numa histórica eleição, quase 7.000 moradores que demonstraram a vontade de votar e decidir quem dirigirá a entidade durante o período de 2012 a 2014. Diferente da eleição anterior, os eleitores não puderam apresentar o comprovante de residência oferecido pela União, o que reduziu o número de votantes, mas não a vontade de participar dos moradores da comunidade. Ao todo, foram computados 3046 votos.

A Chapa 2 – “Paraisópolis com transparência”, do candidato, Zé Maria, obteve 1.359 votos.

Apesar de ter sido uma disputa muito acirrada, a eleição de 2011 foi realizada com bastante tranquilidade e todos os critérios estabelecidos em comum acordo com as chapas. A Comissão Eleitoral foi presidida por Ilda Fiore, tesoureira da Confederação das Mulheres do Brasil, que conduziu o processo eleitoral sempre dialogando com os representantes das chapas. “Todas as regras foram estabelecidas por consenso de todos os membros da comissão”, apontou Ilda.

Ao som de palavras de ordem como: “Pra Paraisópolis seguir em frente, é Gilson presidente” e “Na voz do povo só se escuta que a mentira tem perna curta”, os mais de 150 integrantes da Chapa 1 comemoraram a reeleição de Gilson durante a apuração, que ocorreu no CEU Paraisópolis, na madrugada da segunda-feira.

Gilson Rodrigues, de 27 anos, comemorou o resultado da eleição. “Nossa chapa defendeu a união do povo para transformarmos a favela em bairro. Nossa luta é construir o Hospital de Paraisópolis, garantir o metrô no máximo até 2013 e concluir todas as obras que ainda faltam na urbanização”, ressaltou Gilson em entrevista ao Espaço do Povo.

“Ainda há muito a ser feito, por isso seguiremos lutando para construir uma Nova Paraisópolis”, complementou Gilson.
